shop nowAluminum crucible is the main supporting tool in the thermal analyzer and the carrier of a sample. Aluminum is a silver-white metal, which is protected from reaction with air and water due to its oxide layer on the surface. It is easily soluble in dilute sulfuric acid, nitric acid, hydrochloric acid, sodium hydroxide, and potassium hydroxide solutions, while hardly soluble in water. Relative density 2.70, melting point is 660℃ and the boiling point is 2327 ℃. It is widely used for its light, good electrical and thermal conductivity, high reflectivity and oxidation resistance.
